This is my second card for the tea-party today - you can find out about the challenge HERE on SCS and on Cindy's Blog.
I say it every week, I was really only going to make one card. But hey, if Cindy promised 42,000 lb of fish, and there wasn't a single one on my lighthouse card, I thought I'd better bring a contribution along. Also, my first ever Whippersnapper stamps arrived today. OK, with the new computer, I wouldn't have ordered any, but there was a discount on postage and two are for a good friend's birthday present, so I treated her to wood-mounted and got bare bear rubber for me....
I stamped Mike and Ike on watercolour paper and coloured them with H2Os. I stamped the part of the stamp with the fish 12 more times, and coloured them and cut them out. Layered the image panel up on shiny silver. Couldn't think what to do for the background, so time to try yesterday's TLC again, this time with watercolour paints and silver pen. I know you can only see 3 1/2 fish on the base, Cindy, but there are several more swimming under that iceberg that Ike and Mike are on, so you can put me down for 20 fish - and because they always grow in the telling, you can make them big fish so they'll weigh plenty.
I've caught more crabs than fish, but I do believe I've caught fish a couple of times, and I can certainly gut and cook them no problem.
Is this a Christmas card? Can I count it in to my CCC09 challenge? It's A2, by the way.

Your card is adorable. Two cards a week, you are impressive! When I come to Ireland I'll have to meet you. Although my screaming 1 and 3 year old boys might prevent you from making all of these great cards.

I knew you would be back with fish....even though your lighthouse still stands ready for us in case a disaster happens upon the one at Peggy's Cove!
Thanks for pointing out the supply of fish below the surface! 20 fish huh, 20 fish must weigh about 30,000 pounds! Hey girls! We only have 12,000 pounds to go! This fishing stuff is a snap! Hee!
What a fun image and awesome card you made with this your fun new rubber! What a lucky friend you have to get wood mounted....or is that a big *fish story* and you really ordered them for yourself???? Hee!
Love card #2 Sabrina...we can always count on you for supplies and for good cookin' Whoo Hoo!

I have some good fish tea, if you want to taste it. TFS Have a good day now Sabrina! It doesn't taste as bad as you would suspect. Really...

Sabrina, this is just so cute. I love how your leaf resist fish look. I was trying to think of a way to use that technique with my card and couldn't. This image is just darling.

Sabrina what a cool card. Yes, I know that was bad. But seriously, I love that image and all those little fish you cut out - wow! Your background really is clever!

You just went up yet another notch in my book cause you brought this ADORABLE penguin AND you made sure he had his own little fishie to eat. I love how cute penguins are. I'm glad you came back and brought some fish, too, cause I think that fish tea Peggy is servin' to some of the tea partiers is having a weird effect on them. I was askeered that we wouldn't meet the required fish quota. What a cute card, Sabrina!

You brought a lot of fish - how wonderful. I love the way your resist technique looks and the colors on this are great. The image is so cute. I ordered my first Whippersnapper stamps yesterday so I think it is great that you just got your first ones. Great job on this card.
