Hi! This card was made for tonight's VSN Challenge: Orchid Soup! Participants were to make a card with a "bowl of orchids," (a circle and flower).
Since I am tonight's guest hostess, I made sure my two sample cards were made in under 30 minutes each. So, I looked for my EASIEST to cut out flower for this card! LOL I decided to watercolor with markers, as this is a VERY fast technique for coloring images. (First, of course, I embossed the flower and leaves. Embossing makes it much easier to "contain" the colors.)
The bottom panel was stamped with Birds and Vine and sponged in. The leaves were colored in with a Copic Marker.

Faith, this rose is gorgeous but what caught my eye most is the incredibly beautiful birds and vine bg. I love the stamped image and the sponging is just so awesome. What color is embossing done with? is it espresso and who is it by? I LOVE IT!!!!
Have loads of fun tonight, I can't play because I have a large party to get ready for tomorrow. I'm throwing Chuck a
60th BD party.
