todays challenge was to do a card in a summer activity theme. well, this summer my husband has been unemployed so he went to work doing all the things on the house that so desperately needed it, but time was always an issue. he repaired all the outside things that a Northeast winter doesn't let you do.LOL so while everyone was swimming, etc... my husband had his "honey do list...
this card had basic grey paper as the background, the stamps are from Our Crafts Lounge, the tools are prisma pencils and gamsol and popped to give depth.
the little brads are screw shaped (got them from Michaels or maybe Ellen Hutson?)

Poor hubby! It's nice that things get done around the house, though, eh? (I can identify w/Northeast winters - I'm in upstate New York) Great card! I love the layered panels and screw brad accents...

Yep!!! That's how it is for my DH, too!! Had hoped to build a deck this summer but it didn't happen. We just ween't sure I would have a job teaching this fall. DH found plenty of other fix it jobs to do though!!
Love your card. The simple design is perfect for a masculine card..love the sanded panels in keeping with the theme!! Love it!!
