I combined several challenges with this card. I started with my colors and used a challenge on the Color Throwdown blog to use Basic Gray, Blush Blossom, Pumpkin Pie, and Really Rust. I have to admit the Basic Gray and Blush Blossom were a little different to try and work in but I think I was able to include them without it looking too unusual.
I then chose my sketch. For this card I used a sketch on the Midnight Madness blog. This was a little bit different sketch from what I am used to working with but I thought it would be a fun challenge. I really had to work at the placement of the squares and used a ruler to help to make sure the spacing was fairly even. The final challenge I included was the Inspiration Challenge on Our Creative Corner. I interpreted these pictures as fall/harvest pictures and the colors seemed perfect for this also.
I made the leaves by first stamping them with the Itty Bitty Backgrounds paint splatter. I used Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, and Really Rust. After I had my paper stamped I ran it through the paper crimper. I then used the leaf punch to punch my leaves. I think the crimper gives it a nice texture.

Love all those colors and scattered leaves on this cute card. The Midnight Madness Design Team thanks you for playing in the MMSC13. The sketch for the MMSC14 is available.
