I folded my velum's corners in toward the center before I crimped it. Added some Whisper white card stock which was punched with the Eyelet Lace edge, wrapped some 5/8 inch red gingham ribbon around it, and popped up the Merry Christmas sentiment on 2 square scallops of Basic black. Oh yeah.. added a bit of red bling in the corners to hide the mini glue dots which hold down the velum.

I love the look of the crimped paper, that is so awesome and I've never seen it done that way. Very cool!! Your card is so pretty, Carol. I love it in the red with the little touch of black. Beautiful!
