This is a photo tile of a friend's new baby boy. I am sending it to her along with a small stand so she can display it at her desk. The technique is very simple: Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers .
Print the photo on tissue paper or copy paper (using a laser [toner] printer). Glue photo to tile using Mod Podge. Seal with Mod Podge. Stamp sentiments/designs. Seal with clear acrylic sealer. Done! :-)
For this tile I used Not Quite Navy to stamp the sentiments, images, and initials. Then I used a sponge to dab Elegant Eggplant along the edges of the tile before sealing. Since I did not use permanent inks to stamp with this time, the sentiments ran a little bit when I sprayed the tile with the sealer. Next time I would probably spray a much lighter first coat of sealer or go back to only using permanent inks, like I have with all of my other tiles.
