I love today's challenge colors, but I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've used Blush Blossom. I brayered it, Cameo Coral, and Certainly Celery to make my background for the image.
This is my tribute to the last lazy days of summer...which are over for us now that my son is back in school. It's also hints to the fact that the little girl he has a crush on is in every one of his classes this year. Of course, being in 7th grade, he'll hardly speak to her. He doesn't blush exactly, but does get a sheepish smile on his face when she's nearby.
I'll send this to a friend at church who broke her elbow...ouch!

This is beautiful!!! I LOVE how you used the challenge colors, and your brayered background is spectacular. The perfect foil for that gorgeous tree image!! How you framed everything looks terrific, too. {It's so strange to me to hear that kids are already back to school for the year--my kids still have 5 weeks off and we're still looking forward to our family vacation for the summer!!} Thanks for sharing your gorgeous card and sweet story
