These are dominos pins. I tried multiple techniques for coloring and shading--I know lots of things that DON'T work! They are sealed with clear embossing powder because I wanted a watery look.

Coloring with metallic pencils was the easiest but the shimmer didn't come through the embossing powder and there weren't enough colors. Prismacolor pencils weren't as soft and the color was too light. Markers were a pain because the color would come off on your hands if you touched them. Markers alone were kind of harsh. Markers with blender pen was a nice look. Versamark made the Stazon run so you have to heat set it if you want to use clear embossing powder to seal it.

These are to dye for! You are amazing and this is the perfect stamp for them! I'm crazy about doing dominos. I really got into them last year. I find the blenders and pastels do really well. They don't smear the stazon and I can get some color. I use a little pearlex if I need a shimmer. Thanks for sharing these!

Gorgeous! I just bought this stamp set as it is retiring - great set of images. But I see it took a lot of experimentation and determination on you part to coax a really outstanding result. Congratulations.
