Hope everyone is having a good Sunday!! I spent part of the afternoon fulfilling two challenges here on SCS...
The first is for this weekend's VSN challenge issued from my friend, Peggysue, to make a card without using any ink whatsoever...that was a challenge. See the little sentiment between the two black ribbons? That was a rub-on! The flower was made using a technique found at the bottom of this week's tri-shutter card tutorial for fan-fold flowers! What a fun technique.
Thanks for the challenge Peggysue!
This is also to honor Teresa, the featured stamper for this week, VA.Sunshine by CASEing one of her beautiful gallery cards.
The card I chose to CASE is: FS119 *~*Congratulations Joan*~* by va.sunshine at Splitcoaststampers
The colors are where I drew my inspiration, and the overall layout, although I used a scalloped double border rather than the ribbon, and made the flower, (which by the way is kinda gargantuan) so this card is a 5 inch squared!!
Thanks for your looking, your comments always appreciated!!

Traci, I love your card. Peggysue is so good with the VSN. I had a wonderful time the one time I tried it.
Getting back to this sweet country feel card, I just love it. The flower is perfect and your little button too. Great papers and way to go on both challenges. TFS

Lori cracks me up. I love this card too, the colors are fabulous, the combination of papers wonderful and all the elements work together so nicely. One teeeny little detail, change the '2' on your key words to '5' since I had challenge five.
