This is for MothermarkÂ’s Teapot Challenge on Tuesday. For deets on the par-tay, check it out here: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/ and join the fun! (IÂ’ll be looking for you Peggy Sue!)
This little guy is still back in France. He's splintered off from the peloton and is just a peddling away toward the lily pad. As MM might say, heÂ’s toadily got his eye on that fly in front of him. HeÂ’ll need more than that for sustenance to find his way to the tea party today!
Thanks again to Harding Mom for paying off our travel debts! We are free to globe-trot again. As per usual, I had to make this card using the Sneak Peek that MM was so kind to provide. I canÂ’t wait to see where we are going!
The image is from the internet and is pretty rasterized, but I couldnÂ’t resist this toady on a bike with his little tongue hanging out in pursuit of that fly!
I had saved a piece of glossy green cardstock that was part of some promotional material sent to me at work. I just love that green and I knew it would come in handy one day! (And that would make me green for recycling it, right?!)
I colored the image with Copics, Prismacolors and a silver gel pen. I Stickled the flight of the fly. The green panel is CBÂ’d with the marsh grass folder. Pond, marsh, lilypad Â… whatever. Work with me people!!!
Pinkies Up, you tea partiers! And have a wonderful day everyone!

Okay, who leaked the story that we were doing lily pads after the Tour de France? Oh, sorry, that would be me! Snort!
OMG! How perfect is this funny little card! I simply love that image. He is most definately on a mission. He probably thinks if he gets there first he can camp out on the biggest, cushiest, pillowyest lily pad of the bunch! If he eats all the bugs along the road like the fly in front of him, he might exceed the weight limit! Giggle! What a cool card, the color is awesome!
So glad the sneek peek is helpful to you! Thanks for coming!

Mr Toad - poop-poop, poop-poop - go faster and you'll catch that fly yet.
M, this is adorable. I love Wind in the Willows, love your card. Hope Mr Toad didn't splinter off so far that there isn't someone around to catch his bowler.

This is toadily fabulous!!! I love the image of your little toad or frog going after that fly on his bike. I really like the embossed green, green base. I love your little word window embellishments.
