I made this for my Rooster Recipe Swap, hosted by ccarr68. She made the cover for the swap. For the holder, I used 2 8x8 pieces of chipboard, inked the edges, and covered with paper. I punched holes in the top and bottom, 2 inches in and 1/2 inch from the top and bottom edge, then placed eyelets. The binder rings are in the top for holding the page protectors, and ribbon was laced through the holes in the bottom and knotted to keep it in the open position.

This is such a clever idea. I love it. Now I can't wait to experiment -- what a great way to present recipes as a gift this would be. I keep looking for ideas different from just a box or a regular album.
