When I saw this big chipboard from Tattered Angels, I thought.."Hmmmm, it's a little big." I really tried to make it work by adding more leaves around the image that I stamped. I started off with a piece of retired stampin up paper. Zig Zagged around the edges. Then I used the Martha Stewart edge punch on vanilla paper. The image in the middle is from Verve stamps "Just for You." I stamped it on vanilla paper with brown ink and mellow moss for the leaves around it. Then I used distressed ink, brushed corduroy, and sponged it around the edges and top. I really wanted to do the cracked glass effect, so I rubbed the whole image on versamark then added glassy glaze enamel and heat embossed it. I did this 3 times. Then I stuck it in the freezer for a few minutes until it hardened. Then I bend it to create the cracked effects. I covered the outer edge by applying the big chipboard which I had also covered with shimmerz. Then I added the feather, bow, flower and pearls for the final touch. What do you all think? Chipboard too big...haha!
