I had a piece of textured cardstock left over, so thought Id try the salt technique. I used Twinkling H2O's - periwinkle, passion fruit and Guatemalan green. When I looked at my results, I immediately started singing "Starry, Starry Night." So, thanks to Don McLean and "Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh for inspiring this piece.
This won't qualify for the AUG09VSNPOT4 challenge, as it took me way longer than 45 minutes to complete! ;-)

Wow, it may have taken longer than the time allotted, but it is BEE-U-tiful! What a great idea to use the twinkling watercolours to give it the glimmer along with the salt. Thanks for posting your card!

Awesome! I love the feel of motion in the sky and the wonderful colors! Definitely a 'starry, starry night' picture. The turquoise brads are perfect........picking up the turquoise in the sky!
