I really love the stampset and have been playing around with it a bit. It has so many possibilities.
The background on this card is a technique called faux tile. I created it by scoring lines on patterned cardstock then sponging coordinating ink along the scoring. It's so easy and creates a soft, textured look that doesn't fight with your focal point.
Thanks for stopping by!

OH! So soft and pretty! I love what you have done with this set-especially the addition of the little twig! Your faux tile paper is yummy! May have to give that technique a try!

What a gorgeous card, rich in detail!! I love these soft colors together, and that bird image is terrific. That faux tile technique looks amazing!! All that sparkle is so fun, and the twig is the *perfect* touch. Lisa, I think you've outdone yourself!!!! Congrats on a job very well done

`I love what you did on this card. The way you did the ribbon behind the mat and then tied with thread is a great idea! Love the twig, too. I'm deciding which hostess set I NEED---this set or the Asian Artistry. Love both your cards with this set.
