This is a quick card that I made for a neighbor. He went to the ER overnight and is getting his appendix removed.
I used Thoughts & Prayers for this card, I love that stamp set! I stamped the tree in close to cocoa and the sentiment in always artichoke. The buttons are attached with mini glue dots and I used some linen thread through the center button. I used the choc. chip tafetta ribbon. Even though it isn't a perfect match, I think it works.
Thanks for looking!

Oh Dorothy, this is just exquisite. I'm so glad you'll have some time while your DH is deployed to come back and upload your glorious creations. I cant image how difficult it must be to say goodbye and worry each day about him. May you find the ability to find comfort in whatever each days brings you.

Dorothy, this is a wonderful masculine card and I am sure your neighbor appreciated it. You have a beautiful gallery by the way. I was just taking a stroll!! Our thoughts and prayers are with your husband also. My husband is gone a lot, but in the Navy, not on the front lines. I can't even imagine how hard that can be!! Take care Dorothy and keep creating your beautiful cards!! TFS!
