| | I finally got around to doing the micro beaded pens and boy are they simple and fun to make. I ended up making 31 in just a few hours but had to stop because ran out of supplies. I thought that they would be unconfortable to hold while writing but the beads are very smooth. This makes a nice inexpensive school gift. One of my customers is a teacher and is always looking for something to give to her kids at the holidays. It also makes a quick gift to throw in as a surprise for your customer thank you's. Hope you give them a try.
Oh yea got the directions from splitcoast. 1 1/4" X 3 1/4" DSP, 1 3/8" X 3 1/4" Sticky Pages strip, two 3 1/4" Sticky Strips. You cut the DSP, or lenght of you pen barrow and apply two strips of sticky strip to back. Wrap it around barrow of pen overlapping just a hair. Then repeat using the sticky page strip being careful not to touch it. It is very sticky and the beads will not stick if the oil from your skin is there. Now roll it into your micro-beads which should be in your SU powder pal bead tray. For one package of beads I did 12 pens. |
