My daughter recently got married and for her wedding shower I bought her an adorable apron. While buying it, I thought Hmmm, this reminds me of what I am going to have to do "Cut THE APRON STRINGS". I can't speak for all mothers but this mother was sad (and happy) to see her enter a new and different chapter in her life. I love my new son-in-law and now feel that I really haven't lost my little girl but have gained a wonderful new son. God has blessed our family and we're very elated and thankful.
I also wanted to add, that I took a picture of the apron of which I hung on the box of a new vacuum cleaner I gave her for her shower gift. Just thought you might like the idea, it was a hit at the shower. Let me know what you think and TFL.

This is absolutely adorable! Do you have a pattern for this?
I have gone through cutting the apron strings 4 times now and have a friend who is going through it right now.

OMG! How adorable this is! You know I love the black and white polka dots! Hee! This is so fun, what a great little card. Now that your daughter is married and starting a new life with your new son, the next step to look ahead to is them starting a family.....I am happy for you and for your daughter finding a wonderful mate..... Congrats to you and your daughter!
