This is a group picture of the 4th of July cards that I made this year. I have all of the cards listed separately in my gallery if anyone would like to see them a little better. The card in the center of the bottom row I made about two weeks ago for a sketch challenge. Once I made that card, I ended up really liking it so I made four more cards using the same stamps, but they are all a little different.
I stamped the bear image and colored it using my SU watercolor crayons and blender pen. I stamped the bear image again, colored and cut out a second flag, which the first bear is now holding. I just felt that having a second flag on my image would be more patriotic.
On the red and blue background paper I used a small star stamp (from SU's Just Flying By stamp set) and I repeatedly stamped it all over my cardstock. Then I added some highlights using a white gel pen.
My ribbon is from Offray and my sentiment is from a Studio G stamp set.
These are really cute! I did something like this a few weeks ago for a set of sympathy cards. I designed one card and cut all the pieces the same size for 5 more cards and ended up with a slightly different layout design for each card using the same size pieces.
