I really love this technique! Thanks so much, Lynn, for using it this week!
The image was stamped onto cream textured paper in a brown ink. This was a RAK from Lovely Linda, I think. Linda, if you did not send this to me, please let me know and I will give credit to the correct person. I love this image.....it's just wonderfully vintage!
I daubered the edges with Whispers taupe and Whispers brown and then inked the tippy edges with Whispers black. I cut the edges with SU! Deckled scissors. Then, I adhered the image to SU! cream cs which I also cut the edges with SU! Deckled scissors and inked with Whispers Black ink. I curled the right upper corner of the image for a more "aged" look.
The crooked dp is DCWV metallic gold which I swiped the Whispers Black ink pad over to "age" it. The base dp is DCWV Old World matstack which the edges are faux burned and deckled scissored. I added brown pearls and sheer brown swiss dotted ribbon to finish the card.
I really like how this turned out.

You can relax Peggy - I did send that image from Inque Boutique to you and I love it done like this - I think I am going to have to favourite this one and case it! I am loving the WHOLE look of this! Love those Deckled Scissors...haven't seen them over there! Gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing!!
