the challenge for clean & simple today is to make it sparkle - use glitter or stickles - wow not hard for me! it would be harder to NOT make it sparkle :P
my project for the challenge departs a little in that i made a recipe *card* instead of a card card. i had 2 big things happen this month - my oldest graduated from high school and the middle one got his license. in addition to making me feel really OLD it made me realize they will (hopefully) be leaving home soon and i always wanted to put together a book of family recipes to send with them. being from south louisiana cooking is a huge part of our lives and they both have recipes they request over and over. so to start things off i made the top fave - red velvet cake. i will make two of each as i go and then put them in a 6x6 scrapbook.

What a great idea!! What fun it must be to decorate all of your favorite recipe cards, too. This is great--nice and sparkly. Great job with the challenge
