I love it. Where is your son is her over sea's?
My Army son is in Afagh. I will have to do a card
like this for him. I have been trying to send him
a card a month.
I also send some cards to the other troops over there with
him. Some for them and some for them to send home to
their Family's back home.
Thank you for the wonderful comments. My son is just starting out, he will leave at the end of July for Air Force basic training. I am going to send him a card a day while he is there, but due to my time being limited during the week, I am getting a jump start and stockpiling cards now. Thanks Emily.

Oh, Emily, I see now why there are so many cards for your son. I was wondering about that. This is a perfect card to have in your stockpile. My husband is active duty Navy and gone a LOT!! He goes on another 7-mo. deployment Oct-May and he's been gone all this month and all of August, etc. I'm used to it, but he's on an aircraft carrier and not on the ground, so I am thankful for that. Hope your son does well and stays out of harms way!! Your cards will surely be treasured by him!! TFS!

Pam, my son's orders got pushed back yesterday, he may have to wait until as long as Jan before he leaves (but could be as early as Aug), but I will have all his cards waiting for him when he does finally get to go. Our family has a long list of military in Marines, Air Force and Navy between cousins, son in law, brother and nephew. My husband works construction and works out of town quite a bit, but I get to see him on the weekends and I kind of enjoy the break, but I would really not like the long times away. It takes a very strong person to go through that. My brother just retired 2 weeks ago from the Air Force after 23 years of service, I know his family is glad to have him home for good now. Take care, Emily.
