I drew inspiration from the colors and also from the fact that the Beatles were rock icons just like MJ. MJ was certainly a bizarre person, but a big part of my pre-teen years. If you played Thriller right now, I could sing every word AND do the dance! I think he was uber talented and have always loved his music. I would like to remember the good things about him and what he contributed to the world. I hope that he is at peace now.

Awesome card, Emily!! What a talented artist MJ was, and it was sad to see the troubles he faced. Although, I can't do the Thriller dance (LOL!), it was such a BIG thing back then. I was quite a bit older than "pre teen" though.
What a great tribute your card is. I love the picture and the black/silver/red combo is awesome!!!

Oh how I love this picture of MJ. I've seen him in concert in 1979. Yep only 18 then and my did he know how to perform. Sadly, that's all he knew to do, but oh did he do it fabulously. Love your tribute to the King of Pop. Very beautiful inspired card Emily. I applaud your talent and heart. TFS
