It seems gray has become my new favorite "color" recently! This is for the Verve Release Week Challenge, although due to size issues, it didn't follow the sketch exactly-doh!
I stamped the birdie with versafine gray onto PTI soft stone, and colored in the flowers with Jade Green prismacolor pencil. Used nesties to cut and emboss the oval, as well as two scalloped ovals in SU Basic Gray and Baja Breeze.
For the top ribbon, I put down adhesive across the card, and then pleated the ribbon as I went along, making fairly large pleats. I then went back and, working from the outside in, put a touch of adhesive on the bottom crease of each pleat to keep it held down where I wanted it. Added a cute button with jute twine threaded in it. Everything is on a going gray card base.
