Last weeks challenge was so hard for me I was almost dreading this week. To top that off, we had a lightning strike that knocked out our modem. No internet most of the morning. That being said, this may be one of my favorites of the techniques. Thanks Lynn for the challenge. I used three different blues. I used Billiant Blue, Bliss Blue, and Night of Navy. I also used Craft White ink. I wanted my texture to look like the jeans and when I swiped with the pads, I didn't get as much texture as I would like. So I took a paper towel. Wiped it in the ink and then sprayed it with my spray bottle enough to make it damp and drug the paper towel across the paper. I added faux stitching and a faux bandana hankie. I love this little bear image. It is so much fun to color.

Your texture is really great, MariLynn. We have no blue denim in this house, so I had nothing as a guide to go by, LOL. Even my bear didn't have denims, unlike your cute little gardener in his dungarees. I like the brads and the little touch of red!

This is just adorable. I love how you mimicked the look of the bear's outfit on your background and that sweet hanky. How very clever you are. BTW...I'm glad this week didn't give you fits like last week. I really do appreciate your continued participation!

So sweet!! Love the two pockets. Nice work on the denim--love the "stitching" you did and the pocket rivets! Super coloring job, too.
