Well, I did my best. But anything that involves sponging and me don't mix so well. Many attempts at sponging still end up in the bin. And I didn't really have the right inks to start with...
Base is A2 dark navy. Then my faux denim, which I crumpled up for extra distressing, and stamped with Weathered in grey to cover up the denim failure.
The main image is Penny Black Teddy & Company, stamped with Versafine Black on white card and coloured with watercolour pencils. I added Glossy Accents to his nose, and layered him up on two red mats, sponging the edge with dark navy each time. I added some jumbo antique brass eyelets in each corner. Except I added a pewter one in the bottom left, so had to reorganize the whole layout so that I could cover it with the Primas. The sentiment is a Spellbinders tag with a rub on. I stuck it to the denim layer with thin foam tape, added eyelets and then some gold cording. I also used the gold cord for a detail behind the flowers.
Thanks for the stretch today, Lynn.

Sabrina, I think this turned out wonderful and I love the "denim" look. The technique and distressing I think turned out great. Love your cute little image, the sentiment treatment hanging from gold cord and eyelets and your prima flower treatment!! You did such a great job on this card!!! TFS!

Sabrina, this is adorable. Your card is very similar to the card I made. Mine has a bear too. I like how you crumpled the cardstock to add texture. Great job!!!!!

This is so lovely!! I love your denim. It may not be what you were hoping for but it is so richly textured and perfect for this card. What a creative layout, too! Terrific job
