Yet another card for yesterday's text challenge - the gesso wasn't dry for me to finish it yesterday. It's also my card for the Flourishes challenge this week. It's based on this Bel Bouquet II poster from the website.
My base layer is anA2 cream card. Then some white card stamped with Hero Arts Old French Script in black, sponged with Antique Linen distress ink and then stamped with Weathered in Vintage Photo.
The main image is from Penny Black's Allegro set. I took an old magazine page, stamped the image with markers and clear embossed it. Then I painted a couple of coats of gesso. This morning I clear-embossed the image again, and then sponged with Antique Linen. I had to add the charm to cover up something that had got stuck in the gesso when it was still wet. Then I just added the sentiment - Bloom from Fantasy Floral Garden and a computer generated bit at the bottom.
Strange that texting, which is ultra modern, has sent me on a vintage kick with the cards.
And - I found my Hello from the Flourishes set, stuck to the back of a Basic Grey pad. Happy camper here .

Oh, Sabrina, this is beautiful! I love the flower over the text that you muted with Gesso! Gorgeous. This would also fit today's International flair limited supplies challenge! The script is French, n'est pas?
