This is for a lovely couple in our fellowship group.
I did the background quite a while back and it's been laying around awaiting it's opportunity. Last night I figured out what I wanted to do for this card and I thought the background was perfect for it.
The background: scribble on glossy cardstock with Marvy Metallics (I used pink and copper) then quickly spritz with enough water so the inks begin pool/puddle/and move around. Allow to dry. Trim and mount.
The primary focal image was stamped 2X. I cut out one "C" and mounted it on dimensionals. I traced over the stamped flourishes and "C" with a Gelly Roll Glaze pen, giving it an embossed look (which the camera does not capture). The white circle was sponged around the edges. The circle piece is also up on dimensionals.
Edited 19June, here's a link to YouTube with a very good video on the Marvy Markers technique.
