This is a case and I apologize for being unable to remember who I got the idea from...but thank you for the inspiration!!!
I did make a few slight changes. Color, bugged background, and my sentiment is just straight cut and matted. The original was oval and fancy. I stayed with the basic layout tho.
My neice was married on June 12th. Her wedding colors were deep chocolate and turquoise, so of course I wanted to make a card that would echo those colors.
The layout is simple, so I won't bore you with how I put it together. Except that my card was longer than the bug folder, so I ran it thru the bug, then turned the cs around and matched the folder as close as I could to the cs pattern and ran it thru the bug again so it would be embossed top to bottom
The sentiments on the front and inside are from Door County Rubber Stamps new wedding line. I didn't take a photo of the inside, but the sentiment reads: True love gives with an open heart, it never rules or binds. And true love holds with gentle hands, the heart that it entwines.
It's hard to see in the photo, but the turquoise cs has a metallic sheen to it, and the pale blue ribbon has tiny white dots in it.
