I couldn't wait to get home from convention and make these. We're building a house right now and when it's done (and when I move into my new STAMP room) AND I figure out what I'm going to use the for, I'll label them, and then will probably use our new tall alphas to stamp the fronts of them to coordinate with the labels. Cool huh?

These are awesome!!! I would have never thought of doing this. How did you attach the designer paper? Did you just trim the paper around the edges after you attached it? Did you put designer paper on the back also? Ooooh they are so cute! Can't wait to try this! Thanks!!!

At convention they suggested you use spray mount, but I think that stuff gets everywhere, so I just used a giant glue stick. No, I did not put it on the back either. I simply cut the entire pack of paper at 9 inches which was used for the front of the folders (had to cut a little off the bottom once it was adhered) and then the left-over 3 inch strip (of a coordinating paper) was attached to the inside front where the tab is, so obviously it doesn't go all the way to the bottome of the inside. Then I used the word window punch to create a space for a label and dressed those up with brads. I love these and I made 16 of them with two packs of paper (still have the florals left out of both packs because I'm not fond of them). I can totally see me making MANY more, but they are pretty time consuming. I found that tracing the top onto the back of the paper, then cutting, then adhering was MUCH easier than attaching the whole sheet of paper and then cutting around the edges, as we were told at convention.
So there you go! Have fun and can't wait to see yours!

Jaimie,
They are absolutely beautiful! I was just clicking around and loved this image, didn't even notice who made it and then saw YOUR name! I love them all, what a lucky upline I am to have SUCH a creative stamper in my group!
