When I saw this challenge I thought, "Cool!! Gonna use some of my new In Colors to make something amazing!" Then, when I FINALLY found my stash of acrylic paint (which my kids have craftily hidden), not only was most of it used up dried up and just plain ol' boring, BUT I didn't have a single bottle of metallic ANYthing!! Sigh . . . so I was "stuck" with some very basic colors . . .
I used two shades of yellow and some black on Real Red cardstock. I seriously think I was channeling Jackson Pollock . . . never have been able to understand him as well . . . 'til now. It was FUN making a mess out of my paper!! I can't EVEN imagine how cool it would be to be able to pour it out on a canvas that is bigger than me!! FUN!! And since I had NO metallic paint, I just spritzed the entire card with some pearl Glimmer Mist (bet Jackson NEVER used any of THAT!!)!!
This makes card #94 for my "Follow the Butterflies" challenge as well. Here is a link that explains THAT:
Paper: Basic Black, Barely Banana, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black (classic and craft), lt. yellow, dk. yellow and black acrylic paint
Accessories: Marvy jumbo scalloped oval punch and extra large oval punch, black polka dot organza ribbon by May Arts, Pearl Glimmer Mist, word window punch, pop-up glue dots, toilet paper
