I'm still working on samples of this set and wanted to do yesterdays sketch challenge. I love this sketch. It has so many possibilities and symetry always makes me feel satisfied, so I like the two framing squares in this design.
I used the Walk In the Park DSP and let the color scheme come from that. I used the score pal to emboss the blue frame piece and then punched a two circle from chip board and melted several layers of Old Olive EP onto this, sprinkled on some gold glitter and melted that in as well. I inked the leaf stamp with gold encore and while the embossed tile was still hot, I pressed the stamp into the embossed surface, let it cool for a few seconds and lifted the stamp, I edged this piece with a gold painty. I cut several thin strips of card stock in several colors and glued them onto the card and then glued the decorative disk over the top of these.

So pretty! Love your decorative disk and the strips of cardstock. Now, I'll have to try that. Love getting new ideas.

Wow, what incredibly detailed instructions!!!! Thank you! I love this layout as well. Is this a standard sized card, or is it larger?
I didn't even know we have old olive ep in the catalog. I'll have to go look for that.
I just love your design!
