I so wanted to go in the front door, as both my kiddies (chicks) are sick with the Flu... so my little girl here is knocking at the front door of the tea party... boy she loves her tea, especially Chi Tea Latte, no fat, no water, grande. Oh, sorry, this is not starbucks..... just black tea with milk will be fine.
This was a true challenge for me. As mentioned above, both my Kids (7 and 3) are sick with the flu. Early this morning I got my Tuesday email notifying me of today's challenge... all day I was thinking about what I was going to make. I was at a loss, as I dont' have any farm animal stamps. I dug through my stash and found a few things... mostly stuff my mommy (yellobug60) gave me. This was the first time I used the sizzix (chick and grass), I hardly use chalks, and the grass paper was from a pad full of scrap book paper. This was a lot of fun! Thanks Cindy!

We mother hens don't like our babies sick. Hug them specially for me. I love your cut out chicken and grass. Too pretty Maureen, very nice of you to come and play. Maybe you shouldn't stay too long here this week, with the babies sick and all. But it sure nice to see ya. Hope the little ones get well soon. TFS

You must be taking lessons from Marilynn, Ms. McGiver. She can make a creative and awesome card from nothing! Just like you!!! How fun that you were able to come up with this great barn-yard card with no barn yard supplies! Its precious!
However, your chickie has the spots so it will probably be questioned by the CDC, you know, lots of diseased chicks are in the house (barn).
So sorry to hear about your kiddos....being sick is the pits and its hard on Mom too. I hope they get their flu behind them quick and that you don't end up with it! I am so happy you played in spite of all you have going on! You did so good without critter stamps! So happy you came....and you were definately in the front door!

Now this is one happy chick with all that creative grass in which to play, eat and sleep. Gotta love the eyelashes. I bet if you show your card to your sick children it will make them smile!

That chicken surely looks like she's ready to party! I love the grass that you added - so textural! I think it will be better that straw in the barn for the party, don't you.
Wonderful teapot card. Hope the kids feel better soon!

What an absolutely perfect tea-party card. Your poor chick does look a bit poorly - hope she and the kids are better soon. I just love this card...
I had some of that grass paper, but alas it's nearly all gone. Keep meaning to go out and take a photo some time and make my own, LOL.
