I really don't have very many masculine set's, so when a friend asked me to make her dad's birthday card I was stumped. I used a card from the saddle stitch book kit and added some non SU paper. I felt like because it was a mans card I could not put ribbon on it. I think it needs something on the left to balance the huge U.

Hey! I *really* like what you've done here! You've got a *FAB* color combo and I *LOVE* how you combined the sets! If you think you need something else, have you thought about hemp twine or raffia instead of ribbon? I don't think it needs it, but it sounds like *you* do! *LOVE* what you've done! ~ K

We all get in a 'rut' regarding embellishments. For a long time I didn't think a card was done until it had three eyelets on it somewhere! I think you have done a great job with this card. It's got texture, dimension and balance - plus it's really nice!!! Hesitate to use the word cute since it's a 'man's' card!! ;-)

I really like the idea of using aged to perfection to create a collaged background! Terrific job making a masculine card that doesn't have deer or trees or fish on it!
