This is a birthday card for my brother-in-law, Mike. He is waiting for a Youth Pastor position to open up for him, so I thought this would be a perfect verse. This set is called 'Ask, Seek, Knock', a new release from Our Daily Bread Designs. Today's IC challenge is to use a photo from Design Dazzle for inspiration. I LOVE the white-washed gates shown HERE, so I made a white-washed door instead! Also, I cased THIS CARD by one of my fave artists, Roxie aka Rox71, who was the Featured Stamper last week. Lastly, I would like to dedicate this card to Karen aka imastampin, who I lovingly call 'Wolverine' due to the fact that she uses her fingernails to distress her paper!!! Karen, this is THE FIRST time I have distressed a card!!!!! To most of you , this is no big deal.....for me, I'm jumping off the deep end!!
Thanks so much for looking! Have a blessed day!

Angella, this is a fabulous card. I love the white washed door, and this verse is one of my favorites. The little key charm is a great touch too! Thanks for the mention - and the laugh.

Great masculine card! Got a good laugh at your description of 'wolverine' distressing her card...I have the softest nails so instead of the CS being distressed...my nails would be distressed. :-)

LOL, know where you're coming from with the distressing - it doesn't come easily to me either. But doesn't it sometimes look just great - like here . My nails are too short - hate them clicking on the piano - so I use scissors.
