I enjoyed looking through the Design Dazzle site early this morning while DH was still asleep. Pleny of inspiring rooms there, but I chose THIS baby nursery one, for the light airy feel to it. After our heatwave of the last week, the rain last night was so heavy it woke me in the night, and that sunny nursery really appealed to me this morning.
My base is A2 kraft.
The next layer is green Core-dinations; I sponged the outer edge and then punched little stars out round the edge - taken from the rug in the photo.
Next layer is more Core'dinations, stamped with the tree from Thoughts and Prayers. I stamped it in white, dusted it with white chalk and set with fixative. It was still a bit pale, so I went over it all with a clear Sakura Stardust pen. Distressed the edges and sponged with Brilliance Sky Blue and Platinum. Then I just added a flower with punches and some Making Memories papers, with a rhinestone.
Not too sure about the card, but I'll post it anyway. It looked slightly better when I came back upstairs after breakfast. I'd been hoping to use some gorgeous white wired ribbon marilynprestonn sent, but I need a bigger card.
TFL, thanks for the inspiring challenge, Stef. Out to visit relatives for the day, so I don't think I'll get a chance to come up with anything better.
