Last card for today's challenge. I began with a lovely stamp by Magenta called Rosarie. Unfotunatlly, my talents don't do this lady justice; she is a true beauty! Anyway, I colored her in with so saffron for her hair, green galore, orchid opulence and a touch of lovely lilac for her dress, green galore and gable green for the flower stems and pretty in pink combined with apricot appeal for 2 of the flowers and regal rose combined with rose red for the other two. Once I stamped her, I colored the flowers in somewhat, added to her hair, and colored in her face (I'm still not satisfied with that!) Then I masked her and overstamped with a latin background stamp from Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers in going grey. Then I distressed the entire card with: distress inks in tattered rose, shabby shutters and straw by Tim Holtz sponged on, sanded with sandpaper, and stippled with rose red by SU. Then I worked on the grungeboard by tapping it on my rose red ink pad, followed by orchid opulance. Then added gold touched with the ziggy pen. I then attached it to the bottom left corner, and added the word Believe in regal rose to the top right. Whew! For so much work, I wish I was pleased with the result, but her face really gave me trouble and being the perfectionist that I am, several cards ended up in the trash before I did this one, and it's too late to start again. Maybe some other day. Also, as I'm writing this, I realize that she would work well using the cracked glass technique. Hmmmm....
