I made this card for todays challenge stamping on metal. This is not something I do alot of so I needed to case an idea. I choose Ruthie Williams Birthday Sails -Birthday Sails by Ruthiemarykay at Splitcoaststampers
I didn't have that set, so I used Set Sail and tin foil. I wanted to add a nautical something so I used 'ropes' and a 'sheetbend' knot. My image was so small I couldn't score it like Ruthie did, so I pulled out the xacto knife and whittled away. I also distressed the edges of the blue cs.
There is no sentiment as I have not decided what to use it for yet.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Judy, I love your wonderful, nautical card. You have done a great job on it. I am impressed with that knot, girl. Super idea to add the rope. Your little sea gulls really stand out on your card.

Beautiful sailboat, love the nautical nots, I learned how to do some while reading The Shipping News. Love the blue of course and the way you off-layered your image. Fine work on the challenge. TFS Judy.

Judy this is absolutely awesome!!! Your knots are the perfect touch. Can't believe you actually cut that out with an exacto knife. Do you still have all your fingers??? Beautiful job. You know, I have to tell you a story bout my "foil" attempt. I love Weight Watchers Yogert (Key Lime Pie is my fav) and so as I was preparing to eat lunch, I thought, save the top foil liner and stamp on it for the TSC!!! I'm a genius.......right????? So I washed it and set it on the counter to dry. Came back about an hour later and it was gone! When I inquired the only other human who lives here (Gunner) I was told that he had no idea what happened to it. So the search went on. Then as I was vacuming as one must when they have two indoor cats, I found what resembled a foil top under the sofa. It had been chewed on and rolled on and pretty much torn up. When I asked who did this, no one replied. So I wash out the can and dared them to mess with it!
