Nothing original on these, but I love their simplicity and elegant looks. I went through my stash of already 'Big Shot' embossed vellums and pulled the Manhattan rose ones out to make some 'Thinking of You' cards. I needed one immediately for a co-worker who's father is not expected to survive the weekend.
I brayered classic inks 'here, there, and everywhere' on the debossed side (DEbossed side is the DEnted side, it's pushed away from you) of the vellum; colors are NOT evenly applied. If you can't wait for the inks to dry, hit it with the heat gun. I cut the embossed images out after the inks were dry then ran the pieces through the Xyron machine to apply adhesive to the debossed (dented) side of the vellum. Adhere the piece to shimmer white CS then trim the image down to allow for layering with colored and white borders. I stamped the greetings in classic ink to coordinate with the colored CS behind the top layers (one is Bordering Blue and the other Cameo Coral). I did try adding ribbon but nixed that as it detracted.

A lovely card. I've got to try it. Thanks for the great instructions. I have just purchased the Manhattan embossing folder. I've saved this under my favorites.

There seems to be no end to the creative ways to use this image, both in the stamped and embossed versions!!! This is a simply stunning technique!! Love it!!
