Hello there again!! I just figured out I needed yet 1 more FD cards!! I am "masculined" out!!! I need a big dose estrogen pill to get me back to "girly" land!
I had the most fun with this card and it was easier than my last "tool" card! I tried out some silver glitter paper for the chrome/metal parts of the tools this time. Seemed better than the plain gray I used on the last one. Was a bit worried too much glitter on a "guy" card might be too feminine, but I think it's okay and it brightens the card up a bit too!
I decided to go with Navy blue and Sahara Sand this time to get away from all the browns. I think I might like this one the best of my FD cards this year. It just kind of "happened".
I used some "manly" buttons I found at JoAnne's and some washers from my husband's garage #hope he doesn't need them..LOL!# and topped them with a silver brad as I used a glue dot on the washers and was afraid leaving the open hole with glue in it might cause some problems. I used silver glitter paper for the tools and the SU To The Nine's DSP. I find that paper very easy to use for masculine cards. I also paper pieced the handle of the saw with the dsp. I paper pierced around 2 squares. P.S. I left the thin metal wire that the buttons were fastened to on the paper so I didn't have to use any thread and the silver matches the silver in the card, so that works for me!!!
Okay, now I really mean it, it's on to the FEMININE cards!!! Anybody got some spare female hormone pills they can send me!!! LOL!!!
Thanks for taking the time to look and if you have a chance, let me know what you think!! Have a great day!!

You're rockin' the FD cards my friend! Love that you raided the garage for embellies...That CB folder is perfect for guy cards - my wishlist keeps growing...you're such an enabler! Great idea to leave the wires on the buttons - no needle threading and they look great. Wonderful that you were able to slip a little of the glitterfied look into the silver parts of your tools. I'll be watching for your next 'girly-card' upload!

Great card, Pam! Love the "home hardware" you used LOL Great colour combo and a fun layout. Great card! Think I missed your others so off to check them out I go. I'm sure your estrogen will come charging back the minute you pull out some nice stamps or DP.

Pam, you are toooo good at this card making. The glitter is such a clever idea for the chrome on the tools. You think of everything. Another great presentation of your photo. Love this one just as much as the other masculine cards. Maybe one of us SCSer's can find you some estrogen pills.
