So sorry for the poor picture, it was dark and rainy and I was literally running out the door to beat the mail pickup and I didn't have time to get a better one.
Inside the card reads: To someone who stands out from the crowd! (We would have sent this card airmail but the silly bird doesn't fly!) I know, I know, my humor isn't the best but I try.
I had to create 3 masks - the only tedious part, so that I could stamp one ostrich in front of the other and to airbrush the background. Not much coloring on the birds. What little there was, was done with Prismacolor pencils. The background was done with the COPIC airbrush. I Googled the ostrich and found him in sandy conditions for the most part thus the mostly brown ground. I drew the strings for the balloons.

one of my nieces last name was Ostreich... yeah, so I bought this stamp many years ago. funny true story. She LOVES balloons. I may totally case this someday.
