I found at least fifteen different book covers that inspired me from the Book Cover Archive inspiration website. I also found myself wanting to read a lot of books! Here's the book cover I chose.
Using my stamp-a-ma-jig, I lined up the Lovely As a Tree stamp in this circular pattern and colored them with Copic markers. I sponged Soft Sky from the inside outward on the Very Vanilla base cs and then added a gradual sponging of Buckaroo Blue to the outer edges.
I think this makes a great card for a man, but I'm wondering if it's a little too plain? I thought about adding brads to the corners, but I really wanted the focus to be on the trees. Your input is always appreciated!

I wouldn't call this plain at all! What a lovely job. Your coloring is great--super colors over all! Beautiful card!

You don't have time to read books! You gotta make cards, make cards, make cards, make cards....so don't even think about it!! Ya hear???
This is the coolest, very creative and fun! Do you think it could even look more like the book cover? Holy cow girl! It is so awesome...and the HB is perfect! Awesome card!

Hey, we used the same book as our IC! I love your take on it. I never thought to just do the tree part. It really does make for a great man card. You did a super job here. TFS :0)

I recognised your book cover immediately having already seen Mutnik's card. The shading on those trees is just WOW.
Generally I am a less is more, but I think I'd be inclined to add the brads. It's not that it's too plain as it is, I just think hardware is always good on man cards, LOL.
