Have to tell you, until I finally found a mouse stamp yesterday I had a cat ready to go and scare all those mice away! Your cat looks very friendly and will be a good watcher of all those goodies on the windowsill. Wonderfully done!

What a perfect rural window - mine was far too neat and tidy, and I just didn't have the energy to add grain to make it look more like the pot. And your food on the windowsill didn't get eaten because that hungy little kitty scared away the birds that were still hanging around, and the mice. Now personally I am glad you brought the cat. I don't mind cute mice on stamps (Penny Black mice, love them), and I don't mind field-mice in the field, but mice don't belong indoors, oh no...I told my dad that three years ago when he felt sorry for the one that he thought was in the house, and he started leaving food out for out. Boy was that a mistake, LOL.
I also like your curtains - they look like those chintzy ruched Austrian blinds a la Laura Ashley in her early days, just lovely.
