I needed one more card for my May CCC09 batch, so today's sketch was it - thanks, Amber. With two patterned papers and a brad (or two, or three - hope that counts?) I think it also qualifies for the CCEE supply challenge this month.
It's an A2 card, all the papers are from the Sizzix Little Sizzles Country pad.
The image was stamped with Tim Holtz Distress Inks Faded Jeans, which was also used to sponge all the edges. I added some Frosted Lace Stickles, watercoloured the mittens and scarf to pick up the yellow from the paper, and added silver Stardust to the snow. The little blue and yellow brad is from Buttons Galore.
The sentiment is from Lots of Thoughts, stamped onto the blue card and edges with the silver Stardust pen again. Sentiment and blue layer with image panel are popped up on foam.
TFL.The image is layered up first on the same two papers that I used for the patterned section. I didn't look closely enough at first, and just cut them diagonally in two, before realising that in fact the blue check panel should have been a bit less than from corner to corner.

This is so sweet and pretty, Sabrina! Your two and two tip is a good one, especially with the beautiful blues and white and the right designer paper like you've done here. I tried it with my mustard and chocolate and it just seemed so blah, so I added the not quite navy. Your input is much appreciated!
