Wow, was I disappointed when I wasn't able to participate in the Featured Stamper Challenge last weekend. I have long admired Joan Ervin's wonderful gallery, so my homage to Joan is a week late. Congratulations to Joan for both the Featured Stamper honor and for joining the Dirty Dozen!
I added a red linen panel over black card base, topped this with handmade paper from Daniel Smith Art Supply, the middle strip is red linen cardstock onto which I had glued ribbon and ran it through the crimper for texture. The gold panels are Gmund Treasury cardstock. I ran the hummingbird panel through the CB, added a pearl to the hummer's eye, then red rhinestones to the Prima flowers and message panel. I added gold gel pen accents to the punched butterflies.
Both panels are popped up on dimensionals, as are the hummingbird, butterflies and flower.
It's tough to even try to do justice to Joan's fantastic creations, but it sure was fun trying!
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend!

(Divine) Ms M. this is just too gorgeous. Beautiful array of colors. My all time favorites are red, black and white together. This is a masterpiece with your papers and design. For sure, Ms Joan will be elated to see this one. Hope you're feeling better.
