I have been hunting around the different blogs and sites in the search of inspiration...and definitely found some here at 2RedBananas....I have made this card for this weeks Sketch Challenge....you can check it out here: http://2redbananas.blogspot.com/
I have a friend who orders scripture cards, she is one of my regular customers, buying at least 200 cards in the past year...I try and give her as many different ones as possible - not that it matters to her, but it does to me....I am not a great fan of repetition.....especially when she orders 20 at one time!!!!
I have chalked this image, paper pierced and sponged the edges then layered it on old and then corrogated CS. i have also added the edge off a water colour paper pad, I love the aged look it has...it is also sponged....one day I will own the punch that does this, but this for now - it does appeal to the recycler in me...I layered it on DP and added a scalloped border punch edging and finished off with the scripture as the sentiment...this has also been paper pierced and sponged - I nearly forgot the pearls that my DH came home with from one shopping expedition....I can't add peals without thinking of Kathy (aka Wattle) and Pam (aka pam124) they are pearl fanatics....so girls....yellow ones! LOL!

Beautiful and great job with that image! I love the gilded frame with the torn corrugated behind it. I think the tool truck that visits my DH at work needs to stalk some bling!

Oh, Linda, I'm so jealous!!! I don't have yellow pearls!!!! That was so funny reading about Wattle and myself loving pearls! You just had to be different and have yellow ones, huh? Linda, this is a beautiful image and verse. Your coloring is fantastic and I love all your details. Great job Linda!!! TFS!
