This card is my entry for today's Technique Lover's Challenge, TLC221, to make a tri-shutter card. This was my first-ever attempt at making such a card. I found the actual construction of the card (scoring, cutting, etc.) extremely easy and rewarding! However, it was a true challenge for me to adorn the resulting 9 different panels!! It took forever to try to balance everything and do it in such a way that my large-scale DSP wasn't unduly covered up. Ugh!! It's done now, but I'm not sure I'm happy with it. I ended up leaving two small panels "blank" to leave room for personalizing the message and signing the card. That, I think, was the right thing to do. Otherwise, I'm just not sure about this one.
Oh, well! Thanks for looking,
Emily

You did such neat work with your dsp on those odd shaped front and back panels... that really gave me fits. I never did figure a way to do it easily and neatly... I just spent a lot of time trying to get it neat and never did!

I don't think its possible for anyone NOT to be cheered up by looking at this card and these wonderful colors you've used. I think you did a nice job of balancing everything out - but I know what you mean....it took some thinking and looking for me when I made my first tri-shutter card too!! But what fun to have that many different spaces to decide how to decorate!! Great job and TFS!
