Okay, this is my first try at stamping on the wall. I learned so much from the many mistakes I made, and I am thinking of starting over now that I have a feel for it. I want to use three colors for the roses, make the border a crisp line instead of cloud like, and add another green to the mix. All in all I am glad I tried it! I will live with it for a couple of weeks and then re-do.

LOL, well the thing is that I am not sure I LOVE it. I know I like it, but not so much LOVE it. So I thought I would leave for convention on Saturday, come home next week and see what I thought. Maybe play around with it, or maybe leave it, or maybe redo it.... OR ... Maybe when I come back I will suddenly love it? Who knows, I guess my first try should have been on an extra piece of drywall or something.

WOW, I think it's adorable. If it were me, it would be up for way longer. I cannot imagine re-doing all this work. My bathroom is still plain after 5 years. We painted it pale gray so I could have my coice of colors. You may be an inspiration to liven it up. Did you do the shower curtain also? Thats what I was thinking of doing

I think the colors are fabulous and that you did a great job! I understand learning from mistakes, knowing you could do better and not being completely satisfied, but you did a great job! It's really pretty. if you really do it over post those pics too!!!

Wow! Thanks for the comments. This morning (my birthday) when I went in and turned on the light I thought...."wow!" I think after being so close to it yesturday, for the entire day, (making mistakes, trying to fix them and figuring out the right way to do it right at the very end of the job) I just needed to step away. It sure isn't perfect, and although I wish I had used three colors on the flowers they will stay the way they are. I may add more leaves in a darker color but I won't be doing much more. I also want to do a bit of stamping on a shower curtain. The good news is that I have decided to keep it! YEAH! Less work for me! lol
