I thought I'd change it up a bit by adding the hanging sign "Hope your day is udderly fantastic". It was a great way to add the twine for the rustic, barn look I was going for.
The front image was stamped in black on white cardstock. Then I added brown chalk to 'antique' it a bit. I added the 'wood planks' myself with a brown marker.
"An udder birthday? Weren't you old enough last year? ... I guess time's fun when you're having flies" was computer generated and printed on the barnwood paper. I used a black brad to add a toy plastic fly that my son had.
I don't think you can see it in this picture, but there is a grass flourish repeated along the bottom of the card in bamboo green. It was really faint so I added some 3D with a few stalks of 'grass'.
My farmer brother-in-law will be receiving this card for his birthday in June!
