I made this favor box cake for my daughter's preschool teachers for the end-of-year appreciation gift.
Inside each of the 10 cake slices are cake balls wrapped in small cello bags. I learned everything I know about making cake balls and pops from Bakerella! http://bakerella.blogspot.com/
All the cutting is done with the Cricut:
Tags, Bags, Boxes & More cartridge- cake favor box cut at size 9 1/2 inches on 12x12 Whisper White Cardstock.
Accent Essentials cartridge - individual flowers cut at 2 1/2, 2, and 1 1/2 inches -- large center flower cut at 4, 3 1/2, 3, and 2 1/2 inches out of Parisian Breeze Specialty SU designer series paper spring-summer 2009 catalog.
Storybook cartridge - "Thank you" and scroll accents on the ends of each slice.
Embossing done with the swirl Cuttlebug folder. I created a template for the triangle and rectangle on the end of each cake slice. I hand-cut and embossed the pieces and adhered them to the box with mono-multi glue.
Other accessories: yellow Prima flower centers with Stickles.
