This is the card I made for the May '09 VSN challenge "Hitting the Tables". The challenge was to make a card only using Black, Red and White - the black and red symbolizing the colors on the roulette table.
As chance would have it a co-worker of mine wore a black vest today with a design in white on one side, so I had been thinking of embossing on this black DSP all day! When I saw this challenge I knew immediately what I wanted to do!
A hint to anyone who wants to try and emboss on the textured DSP, I found it is better to use the white embossing powder rather than the clear embossing powder. When I used the clear I got the effect of my image being behind the stripes. If that is the look you want then use the clear!
